Garden Themed Wedding at Burkill Hall Botanical Gardens Singapore

Planning a Garden-Themed-Wedding is one of the most popular themes to do at Burkill Hall Singapore Botanic Gardens, as the surrounding is already filled with beautiful trees and flowers, which gives it a natural green setting. For a garden wedding, most of the brides would opt for a clean look using mostly greens and whites, however we would suggest to add in a tinge of yellow or even pink to give it a more vibrant feel.

3 Decoration Ideas For Your Burkill Hall Garden Themed Wedding

1. For the solemnization at the lawn, decoration ideas would include having a gazebo or an arch as the backdrop, with nice tiffany chairs or garden chairs for your guests to be seated to witness this important moment of your life. Instead of using the usual flower posy to tie to the chairs, try having fillers such as caspier or baby breath instead. It gives you a more garden feel.


2. For the dining area at Burkill Hall, you can opt for either round or long tables. However, for Level 1, only round tables are allowed. Hence, for round table arrangements, opt for clusters of different jars with different flowers in it. Keep it as natural as possible. Best if the flowers are “thrown-in" or scattered, rather than arranged neatly in floral foam. 


3. For long tables arrangements, it would be good to have a table runner as most caterers will only provide plain white linen. If you have a bigger budget, throw a green carpet runner on the ground and have little rabbit ornaments around it to create a mini-garden feel. Floral arrangement in metal tin pails will suit the long table arrangement.
